Covid Policy 2020

Covid 19 (Coronavirus) Policies  Updated 26/06/2020

On attending the drama school you will encounter a system to ensure the safety of our students, staff and their families. We respectfully require full co-operation with these policies, please note these may change under government guidelines.

General guidelines:

Parents are politely asked to not enter the building. Arrangements will be made for drop off and collection of students at the main door.

Floors in all studios and rooms will be marked out in accordance to social distancing guidelines. Students and staff must adhere to their assigned areas.

The studio and rooms will be cleaned and disinfected before classes and surfaces students touch will be cleaned between classes.

• Hand sanitizers and full hand washing facilities will be provided in each area

A necessary, screen guard has been placed at our main reception entrance

• 15 minutes will be left between each class to allow for cleaning and to minimize interaction between class groups.

• We are now changing over to contactless payments. We would appreciate class fees to be paid in this way . We hope to have our new website up and running very soon whereby you can pay for classes and book online and our card facility in classes. Fees are now on a monthly or term basis please.

• All staff has received appropriate training before term begins and are coved compliant

• Class sizes have been reduced in line with government guidelines.

• We have a designated area for students to isolate if they begin to show any symptoms of Covid 19 during class. All parents of that class will be informed and the room will be thoroughly disinfected immediately.

• First Aid kit will be kept stocked with masks, gloves and visors.

• Staff will wear visors during class. Students are not required to wear masks as it is dangerous to do so while exercising.

Class requirements

Please arrive appropriately attired for class. You may only bring a small bag for shoes and a coat into the building.

No jewellery or any additions to the usual drama uniform is permitted.

Please do not bring any personal items to class.

Arrive just prior your class time to avoid any waiting in the corridor.

Sanitise your hands immediately on entering the building.

Go straight to your assigned room to be signed in. Younger students will be greeted at the door, older students may come straight into once signed in. Parents are not permitted past the entrance point.

Please collect your child(ren) immediately at the end of their class at the main door.

If you or any of your family members are experiencing any Covid symptoms, no matter how minor DO NOT come to class.

In the event of any Covid outbreak and fees have been paid we are offering our zoom sessions to partake in the classes so students do not miss out on our classes and rehearsals.

Please be aware these polices can be updated and changed at any time and we appreciate you taking the time to read them fully. Our students and staff safety and well being is priority while maintaining a happy and fun environment for your child /children to re- engage and enjoy what they love doing best and most importantly being themselves in a welcoming and happy environment.
